So Many Parts

Currently in the middle of my Lemond overhaul. Now taking everything apart that comes apart, replacing all cables and cable housings W/red & new break pads w/red. Complete overhaul of the rear derailluar, clean up front changer, clean up bottom bracket (better shape than i thought). Touched up chipped paint on the frame, Steve recommended I have my name painted on the top tube - great Idea. I also may add Team CCR on the front fork. The frame will be off to lettering on Monday. Next step rebuild the wheels, may look into white spokes. I hope to have the project completed by spring. Until then, single speed all the way - right Joe!

Jan 18th hike

We had a good Breakfast today and it is supposed to warm up a little tomorrow, there will be a afternoon hike at CJ for anyone who wants to go, meet at the first parking lot off of croft rd,cross from the model airplane take off/landing strip at(1 o'clock)pm-Sunday-this will be a two mile course and im planning on two laps,dress for the cold, but don't over dress, and bring something to drink. joe

Saturday 1/17/09

No ride this day,too bad road conditions, Im going up to have breakfast at 8:15 if any one want's to come up that would be great, Also if any body wants to go for a hike or cross country ski after breakfast let me know,e-mail or whatever,it's gonna be below 0 degrees in the morning Saturday, so dress warm if you plan on doing anything afterwards...joe...PS--Terry, if you want to send some warm air up this way,that would be ok!

It's just 68 day's till Spring!
