Good ride today guy's i ended with 23.40 miles and a good breakfast,thanks for coming...

Sunday's ride will be at 1 o'clock starting at my house(joe's) going to Southcharelston-London,Catawba then back..around 3hours-46miles

if you can make it come on over and go with us..it an't easy! but if it was ,it would be crowded!! joe

Congratulations to John "Shaggy" Ross for a magnificent finish in possibly the hardest conditions the Iditarod race has ever had. John writes 9th March '09:"I made it in to McGrath last night. There was a lot of snow this year and much of the trail hadn't been broken. They say it was the hardest year yet. I was running second at the start but then broke the hose on my camelback on the second stage, it all poured out down my back and legs. Believe me water freezes pretty quickly at -30. My stealth tights literally saved my ass but I had to ride 5/6 hrs with my legs and saddle frozen up. That lost me a lot of time. Later I spent almost 40hrs alone pushing/lifting my 60lb bike through waist deep snow trying to catch the leaders. On the last day it all came together and I was 2hrs quicker than anyone else on the last stage. I finished 4th. I' happy with that.I'll write some more when I get a chance, but I'm feeling a bit brain dead at the moment!"( PS--and we think we know how to ride!!!!)

Tuesday ride

That was a fun ride, we went up to larenceville and had dinner at a mom and pop place, and it was pretty good.there was Me, Terry, James and Brian ,just got home when it got dark, ended with 25.98 miles another great ride... saw the peters bunch on the way back and said hi,there were 7 of them and they were moving fast!!! later, joe

From now on, this is all i have to say about any post that comes from James! WHAT???????

<----Good ride today, we worked on the main things!! Terry,James,Tracy ,Joe..we did two laps, i ended up with 36.75 miles and i think Tracy had around 40! Nice day for a ride and there were several other riders out there, CJ is gonna be the place to ride this year for sure,i just love that smooth blacktop!!!Were going Tuesday night, not sure where yet, maybe Catawba for a fried B sandwich,will post it tomorrow,hope you all can make it!!!
