Saturday Highpoint Hundred!!!

Ive did alot of hard climbs before, but i think this one is gonna be tough, that will keep alot of the guy's at home on the porch/and i don't figure we'll have any girls/but somebody's got to do the hard stuff! It's just a friendly neighborhood bicycle ride,You can do it!!!! or not!See everyone in the morning!!! joe

Saturday ride - Highpoint Hundred

Weather forecast looks just about perfect for the first Highpoint Hundred. 55 and sunny to start, warming up into the 70's. Winds north at less than 5 mph in morning, then NW at less than 15 in the afternoon. No more than 20% chance of rain. It coudn't be much better!
Joe has volunteered to sag. He will have water, granola bars and other refreshments for us as well as basic tools, etc.
Usual Saturday protocol to start. 6:40 at Northridge, 7:00 at New Moorefield. Standard route to Catawba, breakfast 18 miles in. We will finish with around 111 miles. Instead of returning at 10 AM, we will get back around 5 or 6 PM. See the route on MapMyRide or Joe has hard copy maps. I have done corkscrew hill many times, but never at mile 70 of a century. It's going to be great. Hope to see everyone.
