Sunday ride-im leaving Moorefield base at 1 o'clock for CJ-maybe ride a 30 miler,staying on the east side.if you want, come and go,it's flag day,so if you want to bring a flag, it's up to you!hehehe! should be a good ride...joe

Saturday ride 6/13

Saturday's ride will follow the original route, possibly with the Houston - 56 - Knoxville power loop. Return will be, either the direct route, or time permitting, the north route backwards. We might be shy a few riders due to Caleb's open house, later.

It looks like tonight will be a no-ride, at least for me.

Don't forget - Highpoint Hundred pt deux - June 27. A hundred miles, killer hills, and excellent sag support. How great is that!
Vandalia Freedom Ride July 4. Registration cutoff is June 20.

I rode Tuesday to Urbana, went to Crabills, had 4, was chastised for slacking since we hadn't been there in a while. Return trip featured a glorious tail wind via Dugan, Short Cut, 54, etc.

Highpoint Hundred - part deux

I have been examining my busy social calendar for likely dates for the next training ride to High point. It looks like the next one will be Saturday, June 27. Same deal as before, leave New Moorefield at 7:00 AM, standard route to Catawba, breakfast, then head north via 54, Mutual Catawba, Ludlow, etc. Last time it was 104 miles.
The best part is, my lovely bride has agreed to drive the sag for us. She will drive the CRV and will have coolers, fruit, and refreshments, so essential on a long ride like this. We'll throw in the rack in case anyone has a problem.
Part trois will be July 11.
June 13 will be a normal Catawba ride, Caleb's open house in afternoon.
June 20 will be a no-ride for me. Travelling.
