DO IT!

Will somebody buy this so i can borrow it and have something to read next month on those cold and lonely nights?? hehehehe!!jj

Over the river and through the woods!!!

Yea Baby, that was fun, love those studs!! they are go anywhere tires!! Just had to be careful today it's gun week end! 19&20th, but i only got shot at 3 times, a record low! hahahaah,i love riding in the snow and ice,it's whole new world out there! later, jj

Snow and Ice

No riders today but we had 4 for breakfast. I guess fear and common sense ruled the day. Joe had his mountain bike with studded tires mounted ready to go, but he was the only one. I took it for a spin around the back yard, and it is cool. Surprisingly very stable. I hear Joe is taking it out to CJB later today. Post us some pictures, Joe.

you think?

Hey Mercedes, this is James, were gonna have 8 riding today and we'll be there in about 30 minutes! hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahhahahaha!!

My Ride

My 1963 Schwinn Sierra single speed conversion. I was going to hang it on the wall, but I figured I may as well use it. The horizontal drop-outs in the back give you the adjustment you need for a single speed. I removed the front and rear Huret Alvit derailers and had Steve remove the 5 gear cluster and put on a 16-tooth freewheel. In the front, we're on the 40 tooth small ring. It seems about right for me. The original black leather saddle came apart years ago and I didn't know how to deal with it so I replaced it. I now wish I had kept it. The fenders, of course, are new. I unbolted and removed the 52-tooth big ring. Even with the stuff removed,

On order

My winter dream bike is on its way (In my dreams of course).

Nothing but fear and common sence will hold you back!

Tonight: A chance of rain and snow before midnight, then occasional snow. Low around 28. East wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Saturday: Occasional snow. High near 31. North wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. This ride might seperate the men from the boy's?

News Flash

OK, Joe. Here is something for you to drool over, your very own Schwinn Paramount footbike. Complete with Campy brakes, it looks like. Maybe if you ask Santa and if you've been real good...............
Maybe you can find one on Craig's list.

We've come a long way baby!

Look what Steve did!!

Yea baby, now were thinking..Steve built a pick up for a trainer,on the trainer itself, using a sigma computer so if you already have a sigma you just move it to the pick up, he has extra pick ups so you don't have to buy a new comp. A guy came in today and bought the one your looking at, how cool is that?jj

Remember,

Only one way to feel about your ride!!!!
GO HARD!OR GO HOME!!!!

Quote for the day
(someone who's got what you've got
is out doing what you're not!)

Merry Christmas bike guy's!

Bike nut's resting in a clean up pan
Frame being washed off by the hose,
Fresh air being pumped in the tires as fast as you can
And cranks shined up like a pretty
rose
Everybody likes a quick release for your toes
Makes the power shift right
Nice race bikes with there lights all aglow
Soon i'll be out of sight!
Merry Christmas everyone,,leave a light on for me! jj
