What A Great Ride!!!/Kick!!

They gave me a little too much lead on the return ride and that is all they saw of the Footbike!Man that was a great kick home, i crossed the bridge at 170BPM full gas!!! im lovun that!A great group of 14 riders going today and it was a sweet ride,great weather,good breakfast,you couldn't ask for anything more,lets do it again next Saturday!!! WHAT:???? this is a ride we do once a year. Instead of going to catawba, we do a different route,then finish at James's house for a full course breakfast. you like "belgian waffles" ??? we got' em this year, pancakes, bacon ,eggs,just the way you like em, fruit.. you wont want to miss this ride...... But you do have to ride!!!! Then after your done eating, we test your knowlegde of the TOUR de FRANCE... So start watching tomorrow as some questions will pertain to previous stages,,,, and "GOOD LUCK"

Vandalia Freedom Tour

I will ride Saturday, as usual. On Sunday, July 4, I am going to do the Vandalia Freedom Tour. I have done this one the last 3 years. It is very well supported, lots of rest stops, and a nice lunch at the end. Fairly cheap, too. $25.00 day-of-ride. 62 miles or 32 miles options. If anyone wants to go I will pick you up or meet you there. I will probably stop for breakfast somewhere. Registration starts at 7:00 AM.

Top Speed

Was showing a friend my heart rate monitor yesterday and was going through some of the files and pulled up Cade's Cove file. While descending the last hill I saw 41.6 mph and never looked again. I assumed that was my top speed.  This is the actual top speed.  I think I burned up a pair of underwear also!
