A little bad video from today's ride

Also saves on kit money!hahaha!

WITHOUT MY HELMET OFCOURSE!

MY FIRST CENTURY!

Did not plan this for today. Planned on 50.

Started at 6 am with Tracy and Brian then to join CCR on a ride to breakfast.  On the return trip Tracy and I took a detour and finished with 60 miles (Thanks for the added hills like Willow, Tracy).  I then quickly drove to Xenia to refill on water, grab some snacks and jumped back on the bike to ride to work in Vandalia. Took some more detours along the way and finished the day with 100.5 miles.  Think I'll rest tomorrow...or do 20 easy miles before work...or just bike to work again.

A friend came and picked me and the boys up so I could go home for a shower and my car.  Felt like I got a lot of support today. Thanks.

Saturday ride 7/10/10

It looks like the great footbike throw down is on. I will be there but on my road bike. Got to get the miles in for Young's later this month. I will stop by James' at 6:40 and Joe's at 7:00. Original route, possibly with the extra Callahan loop. Two epic climbs, Vernon-Asbury and McConkey, with a sprint finish at Sis's. Is that Phil Ligget I hear narrating?

Jens Voigt: "It was stupid."

TOUR DE FRANCE STAGE 6: CAVENDISH TIMES TWO

http://blog.oregonlive.com/horner/2010/07/tour_de_france_stage_6_chris_h.html

"now you know why".........

I wear a skull cap. Levi wished he would have!!!
For your info; I will be driving to Joe's, since i'm am kickin' it tomorrow.. there are at least three of us kickin 'the normal standard" route,, so for the rest of the bikers, you might want to consider the standard with the "6-mile extended callahan" loop.... just to balance it out time wise..
On another note!!! don't forget next Sat. is the "tdf" trivia, at james's house where a full course breakfast will be served after the ride.It will be "yummie good"... As far as the bike route goes, for safety reasons we might change from years past.. Open to ideas or courses, just remember to end up at my house.. we'll talk in the morning, see ya then!!!
p.s. still have openings for kickers!!!!

This will be waiting for the first climber into Catawba

Can't we all just get along???

James ,you do this tomorrow and im not riding with you no more!! Unless it's you and Brian, then that would be ok! hahahahhaahahhaah!

Quote of the Tour

"After the race, they scanned my bike, and I said to them, ‘You better scan me, because I am the motor,' "-prologue winner Fabian Cancellara.

Vandalia Freedom Ride

Four of us completed the Vandalia Freedom Ride today. It was an excellent ride, very hot at the end. We added one more covered bridge to the count. The Eldean Road covered bridge in Miami County. BrianJulie, you should have been there. Herb was enjoying himself so much that he added about 18 miles to the 60-mile ride after making a wrong turn. Herb asked before the ride "are we going to stay together?" The answer is "yes", but we should have added "unless someone sprints off the front". That's OK, Herb, there's no extra charge for the extra miles. I think Mike was going to go home and do another 40 miles so he would have a century, or maybe not.

July 4th

Enjoy the Holiday...fire up the grill and have a good day.
