Century Ride At Night

Was wanting to see if anyone would be interested in a century ride in the dark. Maybe start in Yellow Springs at about 11 pm on Saturday July 31st and head south through Xenia and head towards Cinci.  When we return stop at Young's for breakfast.  I am planning on doing this ride and of course the more riders the better.

This AM.

Quite,peaceful addictive,very nice.jj

Fractured elbow shatters Tour hopes for Evans

Man, alot of the best riders are droping out of the tour, makes for a lack luster race if you ask me!

Monday night's easy 20-25 mile spin

I rode with Dan M, Dan P and Tracy last night for a little over 20 miles, the ride was tagged as an easy spin to loosen the legs. It started at a nice easy pace for the first few miles and then the next thing I know I'm in a pace line going 24+. I hope to find the time to look up the word easy and post its meaning on the site. Great ride gentlemen.

James Cook's!

Just did the Saturday James cooks route,we will leave here to Prairie rd to county line east to buckcreek rd north to rt54 north, stay on 54 till it goes into Hickory Grove rd at the middle school.going west on Hickory Grove to Middle Urbana Rd-turn left(south) to Moorefield RD then turn right to the BP station-turn left to Eastridge-then right to James house, like the 5th or 6th house on the right, park bikes and eat lots of food!this is a 16 miler and the rollars on Middle Urbana RD will work you pretty hard,if there is another route you want to go, then by all means go that way, But this is the route im going, jj PS. theres about .3tenths of a mile on buckcreek rd that is freshly chipped and seal, just pick a line and think of it as baby Cobbles!!!

Art Work!

Now thats a cool pic!

Phil quote

Tracy, you posted a Phil quote a couple of days ago. Watching stage 8 and had to laugh at this one, "and he's lossing ground". Phil was referring to a horse and rider was pacing the peloton.
