Get ready for the 1st annual Tomb Stone Tour 2010

Mark your calendars for Sat. Oct. 30th, you won't want to miss this one. We have planned something special. The ride departs Joe's at our new 7:30 time, we hope to visit potentially 15 graveyards in and around Clark county. Plans are in the works as I post this so stay tuned for more details, maps ect.
If you are so inclined to show up in costume, thats great! (i may dress as Laurent Fignon a TDF winner)Just remember you have to ride wearing it.
I will list the cemeteries I have found so far, you may recognize a few we pass all the time.
Asbury Chapel
Bodkin
Fletcher chapel
Brighton
Foley
Graybill
McConkey
Plattsburg
Pleasant Hill
Rose Hill
South Vienna
Titus
Tuttle
Wilson Chapel
Yale
Not necessarily in this order but you get the idea. I found the list @ http://ohio.hometownlocator.com/features/cultural,class,cemetery,scfips,39023.cfm
I think it could be a blast, and i can't wait to see what George will wear.
I will post more info as I make it up, all thoughts are welcome.

Group ride from Ranger Station Buck Creek 6PM

There is a group ride leaving tonight from the Ranger Station at Buck Creek State Park - at 6PM. Don't worry about keeping up as you can 'skip' parts and catch up easily if needed. From what I hear so far George, Dan M, Dan P, Brian and I are in plus some others.... anyone else is free to ride...

Winter Indoor Trainers - what does every use?

Just trying to figure out how to maximize my winter training.... I currently have a Cyclops Fluid2 trainer and was wondering about the Racermate Computrainer. Reading reviews about it - it seems like it works... they even have a Performance Increase Guarantee that comes with it - in 5 months you will see an increase in the watts and speed - and at least 2mph increase in 5 months. All you need to do is ride it 3 times a week for an hour for the increase. So 3 hours a week and your guaranteed to go faster (which means less saddle time when climbing Mt Mitchell). What's everyone think.....? I've never used one but it seems pretty cool...
