Hello, my name is Caleb Josiah klay and I am pleased to announce my inductee membership to the"CHERRY BLOSSUM SOCIETY".I hereby understand that I will not ever ride my bike when the temp. outside is at or below 20 degrees.I truly feel that all the clothes I would have to wear are, and will always be to restricting for my beautiful body. The "GUNS" that are displayed in the photo above are my pride and joy, and for me to cover them up is just too much for me to handle at this time. Please understand this tough and difficult situation i'm faced with.When the temp. outside reaches, and can sustain 50 degrees or higher, then it will be an honor and my utmost privilegde to once again ride with "CCR". SATURDAY RIDE
That's right, boys and girls, the plan is to ride Saturday morning. Muster at Joe's at 7:30, and ride to Catawba for breakfast. It should be about 20° to start, so no summer kit, just yet. Herb, keep your sandals packed away a bit longer.
The plan is to do the north route, Buck Creek Rd to 54, to Catawba. If the scouting report comes back negative, we will update on the blog. I think Joe and Doug will be on single speeds. I may do single speed, but with only two rides in January, I think I'm going to need all the gears I can get! Getting old is not for sissies! Maybe I'll slap the bar mitts on the Giant and give them a try.

We Could!!!
We could ride this Saturday, it should be in the 20's but we have did that before,light wind 8-10 mph,not bad, and the roads should be fair,maybe buckcreek to 54? The warm up is coming!!! And the cherry blossom boys should be out in 3 more months! hahahhahahaha!!

"WHAT A BLAST"
As probably has already been mentioned, Doug,Joe, and I met at the resevoir for some "kicksledding" experiances. I tell ya, these two guys who are 63 and 58 years old, are like playing with 10 and 12 year olds. I"ve never seen two "older" guys have so much fun in the snow, they did'nt want to go home!!! I've struggled big time trying to post some photos of tonight,but nobody here to help.. I'll post as soon as I can, you'll love it!!!!

I think it will be good enough to try tonight at CJ,say around 5 o'clock or so, it is supposed to get colder which is good for the road,Go past the ranger station(main entrance) turn right then left,first paviolon on the left,any body who wants to try it out are welcome, you can push me around all night,hahahha, i have lights,hahhah, your gonna like it!!
