Highpoint Hundred pt 3 is in the books, or more correctly the Highpoint 66. We made it to the monument as you can see, but it was a bit wet. It started as a light sprinkle just before Zanesfield. We waited it out a while at the park shelter, but finally grew tired of waiting, so we took off for New Jerusalem and Highpoint. James and Tracy weren't having enough fun, so they decided to do hill repeats on Bristol Ridge, to make things more exciting. They discovered that braking power is reduced to nearly nothing when very wet. Talk about exciting! I went on to East Liberty. By the time we made rendezvous (fancy French word) at Goshen Church, it was really raining. James suggested we eliminate Mad River Mountain from the route, and just take Corkscrew Hill to Pickrelltown and return. I said, how about we load up the bikes and head out of here! A concensus was quickly reached, and soon we were returning home in the Honda. How wonderful to have a sag driver! On the return trip, it rained harder and harder, reinforcing our decision to abandon.

Guys, that was one of the best times I've had on a bike, thanks. Thanks to you too Cindy, the warm dry towels came in so handy.
