I like this technology. My commute each way is 36 miles, riding the entire way is out of the question. This kind of electric assist could bridge the gap. It would allow me to ride the entire commute. When I tested the electric assist bike I could see the possibilities. I agree that it needs to become part of our culture before it will take hold. Maybe better batteries too. My 2 cents!
