Sweet Ride!!!

Don't forget the rider who over slept! im not going to say who, but it was Doug E!!, sorry Doug, Karen made me say that!It was a great ride,i was strokun on the footbike,heart rate was in the 150-165,range about 95%+of max! cool, i was plenty warm,The other riders took a 4 mile longer loop(i mean after all, they were sitting down all the way!hehehe!It was a great ride, maybe next week Doug and Goofy can go! hahahahahhaah! jj

It Was a Cold One!

It was 21 degrees to start, but that didn't keep 8 hardy riders from showing up this morning. Thankfully, there was no wind, and it was a sunless, overcast sunrise. But the coffee was hot and the pancakes were delicious, and the conversation lively (was that Goofy on the right or the left). The water bottles got a little crunchy, and the fingers and toes a little numb, but it was worth every frozen mile. It is interesting how many have single speed projects going. Evidently we are trying to return to our bicycling roots. As soon as I get my fenders mounted, I will roll mine out.

MAJOR SNOW STORM FOR RIDE

Don't be worried about this Saturday's ride, It's not gonna be that bad!Just dress warm(layers) and maybe some chemical packs here and there and you will be fine, after we get the first couple of really cold ride's out of the way, it will be down hill after that!jj
