2011 Assault on Mt Mitchell - Save the Date

Just saw this on their Yahoo Message group - as of right now the current date for the Assault is May 16th, 2011 - they submitted the permit to the Parkways officials. So get ready - its coming!

    The weather could be interesting at upper elevations that week in May.

    Yes, but if you acclimate while riding this winter you'll be ready for it if it happens.
