I will be going over to CJ Sunday for two laps or more on the roadbike if anyone want's to go, im leaving here @ 1pm,need to do some leg work and get some miles on Tracy and some work for the dome!! jj

What a great kick/ride it was today,60 degrees @7am and we had a grew of 8,it was perfect for working hard, legs felt great the whole 16 miles and i learned something today,going through the Runyan Pyreness,when your @ 95% of max heart rate on a climb like that and you say to yourself, this feel's great, that you are one sick puppy!Other than that we had a great kick,up and back,we smoked it up good!!!jj

Why yes after the Tour Of California we will move on to the K&K in Catawba with CCR and the teams up there,i think jj and Doug will be a strong favorite also Terry H and you also have to watch James and the boy's,it's gonna be a tuff one to call!The weather should be good,but when you get into the Runyan Pyreness anything can happen! (OH yea baby, thats what im talking bout!!!!It's gonna be fun!!!!!)

VERSUS will be televising starting with a race preview on Sat. @ 5:00pm then also on Sun . thru thurs. each day @ 5:00 till 7: 00 p.m.... I'm pretty sure where I saw where this will be "live" coverage, post it on blog if you see or hear otherwise... set your DVR's....... this should be very interesting and thrilling to watch... Thats right, you could have been there and saw Mark in action, someting you don't see very often,It was a great time and the temp was just right for working out, we did 5 laps and took it home,a good work out and will soon be ready for the K&K! jj

Friday 14th--5K at buck creek--6pm

There is a 5K supporting Northeastern Schools this friday at 6pm, I would like to get as many people as possible to turn out. So far Dan M and wife, Brian and myself are in, who else is up for a little run?

On Saturday I purchased a set of Zipp 404's even though the Spinergy carbon wheels have been great with zero issues.

TOSRV 2010

The 2010 version of TOSRV is now history. Caleb, Brian, and Terry fought the exteme wind, endless detour, and our own poor training to finish in Portsmouth at around 5:00. The WSW wind pounded us relentlessly at up to 40 MPH. We had serious doubts of our ability to return. I think the boys could have toughed it out, but I was done. I have never hurt so bad following a ride. Julie mercifully agreed to come and get us on Sunday morning. We returned to Columbus and got our certificates (no gold sticker). Now to go and sleep.
