Would these miles count?

Brian and I are considering renting one of these from the Alum Creek Marina for a few hours and were wondering if the miles that we do on one of these would count. Yes? No? What's the consensus?

Julie had to visit Dublin Methodist Hospital today. She had some chest pains throughout the night and into the morning and we decided to take her in. They gave her a variety of meds including morphine and it caused her to throw up. But we kept an eye on her and after resting for a little while and staying at the hospital for nearly four hours, we were able to leave. Julie really wants to ride today but I will not let her. I will baby her today and tomorrow and hopefully she will be well enough to ride Monday morning for the covered bridge ride. If you wish to keep her in your prayers, she would appreciate that. Good to hear the Saturday morning ride went well!

And WE Did!!!

Oh yea baby!! 7 riders going strong! James went out like a jet and Tracy grabed on his wheel, The rest of us did what we could to keep them in sight! A very good ride and a great Breakfast, the trip back was fast and cool,we got back and i was in the shower by 9:30,done deal,Mike met us there for breakfast and then he had to go to work,Thanks for coming Mike..Monday is the Dutchman eatum day with the covered Bridge route, meet @ the Dutchman at 7:30 am for yum yum's!!! jj

Need your thoughts on Cades Cove ride

I did some research on Cades Cove and found its a pretty good streach from the Surgarlands visitor center(about 59 miles + dist from cabin). Yor thoughts on Sunday morning ride distance. If we split the ride up we would need to pack the bikes. Checkout is 11:00, I have asked for a 1:00 extension (won't know until the day we check in). This would be a beautiful ride reguardless of length. If we are interested in riding long on Sunday I will check into using the park camping showers since Mike, James and I may stay an extra day at one of the campgrounds in the park. You imput is welcome.

Memorial Day Ride?

Next Monday is Memorial Day and as I'm sure most of you have the day off, you would probably want to start it off right with a ride. Well, Julie and I are wondering if CCR would like to schedule a ride that would take us through the Union County Covered Bridge Tour. We would see 5 of the 7 covered bridges and it would be 25.8 miles according to MapMyRide. I am as of now unfamiliar with Milford Center, which is where we would start, but I could see if there would be a place for breakfast. Then again, if anyone has any other ideas, I'm open to suggestions.

Oh, and my legs are sore from Team JBK's victory in the 1st Annual Kick N Krank. :) Taking one for the team baby!
