Went to the Doctor yesterday for a (Q&A) session,and came out with a APRIL 11, date for "DaVinci" robotic surgery.. Thats a Monday which I was hoping for,thinking maybe a Sat. ride or at least a kickbike ride...But to the Doctor's dismay, she said absolutly not for at least 4 weeks...."BUMMER",that I could do major damage if I even tried.. Anyway,scheduled for a 7:30 procedure,approx.3-4 hr time,walking halls that evening(Docs.)orders,possably home next day,or no later than Wends. DaVinci is "cutting edge" technology with minimal bleeding,complications,ect....I'm relieved to have a date set,and extremly comfortable with my Doctor,and her experience of over 500 surgeries of this type..

Glad to hear you have it on the schedule. That's one more thing you don't have to think about. After it's over, you'll be riding again before long.
ReplyDeleteThe robot surgery sounds good; it's the post op infections that worry me. Hope it all turns out well for you, James. Hope you get a strong tailwind on your road to recovery.
