Good Hard Ride This AM!

If this was our ride this morning, you could see me coming up runyan hill.but you would have to wait a few minutes cause i ant there yet! hahaah! once up the hill the rest was easy.It was a fine ride, we got sprinkled on a couple times, but it was great, Breakfast was tasty and Herb was going after James food and they almost had a fork fight! hahah! the ride home was windy and ofcourse my heart rate monitor went balistic cause of the wind and hills, but a good ride, need more like that one!I did a breakaway on 54 and blistered it for a mile or so @ 170BPM- time to rest!

Saturday April 2

Hill workout!

Took this picture yesterday. Found an insane climb outside of Golden on Lookout Mountain.  Was there on Sunday for a drive.  Six miles with about 2,000 feet of elevation gain. There was alot of bike traffic.

Not sure if the wildfires made the news in Ohio but in the background is from a fire that happened last week. About 850 acres burned.  There was a grass fire that was about nine miles away from our apartment.  Over 1,600 acres burned over two days.
