Birthday Ride Saturday January 3rd 2009



Wow, what a great ride this past Saturday. Temp at the 7:00 am start was a chilly 20 degrees, climbing to 30+ by noon. We took our northern rout with some challenging hills, about 24 miles to the breakfast stop(lots of numb toes by breakfast). We where joined by 2 new riders Dan and Aaron - what great guys and good cyclist too. We had 2 birthday riders Doug 56 miles and Terry 60 miles great job! Be sure to catch the video of Terry at mile 60. We completed the remaining miles in the Buck Creek State park followed by a stop at Joe's house for a group photo.
Can't wait till next Sat. for Caleb's birthday ride

    Am I the only person noticing that Terry didn't pedal for the first 30-40 seconds of the video ? It's really tough to convince people of how hard we are working when they see this. Maybe James was pushing Terry from off camera.
