Ride Report

The Saturday ride was awesome. 20 degrees to start but clear as a bell and almost no wind. The ambitious north route took us through Mutual and across Rt 5 to Silvers, Pleasant Chapel, and into Catawba at mile 27. 10 riders in all joined us for breakfast at Sis's, with Dan and Aaron riding with us for the first time. After consuming a mountain of pancakes, we returned via CJB where Terry and Doug completed their birthday mileage. We finished with about 65 miles, tired but feeling great. This was the best ride of the winter so far. We got a little cold on the initial run, but with the sunshine and slight wind, our bodies became acclimated and we finished strong.

Joe, you really should eat something, you're looking a little slight. Maybe you could use some Anti-Monkey Butt body wash to perk you up.
