Yep, i think he did!

OH My, what he said!!!!!

Brian, did you get the rock racing water bottle from them?

The current frame does not have enough width between the dropouts to support the new Rohloff Speedhub so the bike is special ordered.
$3,359.99 - Carbon

Trek Response: The District’s are a group of unique single speeds and for that reason we did not consider the Rohloff or any other geared hub while designing this bike. The frame is an OCLV Black Carbon frame that is current to this model year. The same frame can be found on the 2010 Madone 5 Series. Trek dealers are allowed to order what they believe is appropriate for their market and are not required to carry the District Carbon.

Back in the day!

Aw i had one of those a long time ago! The tires were just a little wider back then!

Stage-4

An audacious attack by Lance Armstrong failed to break Andre Greipel's stranglehold on the Tour Down Under on Friday as the German claimed his third stage win in emphatic style. Armstrong and RadioShack teammate Tomas Vaitkus broke forward with about 16 kilometers (10 miles) to go, but were caught by the pack in hot and windy conditions near the end of the 150-kilometer stage four. Greipel, the 2008 champion, put on a trademark powerful sprint to finish ahead of Australians Robbie McEwen and Graeme Brown to maintain his overall lead after four stages.

Fish Oil Slows Aging
Loyal readers no doubt recall that telomeres, the strings of repeating DNA sequences at the end of chromosomes, are a surpringly reliable measure of aging. The shorter your telomeres, Geezer regrets to inform you, the sooner you will die. Hence, it makes good sense to find a way to keep telomeres long, and as it happens, scientists at the University of San Francisco have done just that. Science News reports that researchers there recorded telomere length in white blood cells of 608 people with heart disease and an average age in their mid-60s. The researchers also noted how much omega-3 fatty acid was in the bloodstream of each participant. Science News reports that although some people had higher omega-3 levels than others at the outset, telomere length wasn’t markedly different, but after five years, those who started out with higher levels of omega-3s had substantially less telomere shortening than the others

Kickbike

Wish I had my camera

Gave my bike a bath in the bath tub.  Wow! It looked like a cyclecross bike after a race.  Half the bike was brown.  It is nice and clean now.  Wanted to get a pic of that.  My heart rate coming back hoovered around 160 bpm and maxed at 170.

That was a great ride.  I struggled.  But I certainly enjoyed it.

Thanks James for staying with me.  It helped to keep me from giving up. In more ways than one.

Thanks Tracy for the book.  I have started looking through it.

Bob, did not realize your age. As with Joe I thought you were younger.  That poses the question, "Is the fountain of youth not really a fountain, but a kickbike?"

Also, Bob, here is the link for "Bicycle Race".
